CHIDA YOUNG WOMEN PARALEGALS RECEIVES FUNDING FROM FRIDA the young feminist fund

CHIDA young women paralegals (CYWP) has received funding from FRIDA The Young Feminist Fund under its exchange initiative special Grants Window 2019. The main purpose of the exchange initiative is “To foster a constant information, knowledge, skills and best practices sharing spirit among like-minded groups”. The exchange initiative is anticipated to provide CYWP the opportunity to meet other like-minded girls, where they are expected to establish synergies, collaborations, learning, and exchanging knowledge and skills, sharing field information, feed-backs, experiences, and best practices exchange among themselves
CYWP is a Tanzanian young women’s led group working together for the advancement of women’s, girls and children’s rights. Their work focuses on Gender Equality and Gender Equity. It focuses on promoting and safeguarding Gender Equality and Gender Equity by ensuring women and girls like men and boys enjoy the same status in society; have the same entitlements to all human rights; enjoy the same level of respect in the community; make informed choices about their lives and have equal power in attaining the outcomes of such choices. Above all, the group ensures that all the activities being planned and implemented in their projects, carry the necessary weight to meet women’s and girls’ needs, interests and experiences.
