The project funded by #FRIDA Young Feminists and the funding was used to raise women’s awareness of their fundamental rights on land ownership in Nyololo Njiapanda, Lwing’ulo and Nyololo shuleni villages. 25 Young women Paralegals received refresher training on Legal Aid Service provision to women/girls on land tenure and certification. Also, the project conduct training to 3 village land committee members imparting them with skills on land dispute handling as well as general land management at the village level. At mid-term the project concluded its activities by conducting a 3-day training to young women paralegals imparting them with skills on leadership and project management including record-keeping (finance) and how to manage the group efficiently and effectively.
